 Tomorrow is ServeFest!
We’re spreading some love by serving 10 areas of our community instead of having regular church service. It’s going to be amazing. SCHEDULE: 8:15-8:30 Check in 8:30 Worship 8:45 Send out 9-12 Serve your socks off 12 Lunch back at FBCJC  Let's Talk.The Church is a body. That means that we should all be moving as one unit. If we're all pulling in different directions, we can't expect to be very productive in well... anything. So, as a church we're always trying to find new ways to communicate more effectively between our members and ministries. Rather than rely solely on Sunday announcements which can easily be missed, or short weekly updates from a bulletin, we want to be able to stay in contact with each other throughout the week. Starting today, we'll be encouraging everyone at FBCJC to join our online discussions on an app called "Slack." Think of it as a central place to discuss and find information about anything and everything happening in our church. From small groups, to events, to prayer requests, we want this to be the HUB for our communication. Slack has apps that run on your phone, tablet, pc or mac. You can even just open it up in a browser. Here's a little video to get you familiar with it. This is one of the first major efforts from the leadership team at FBCJC to get us all on the same page. This is the primary place where we'll be making announcements, asking questions, posting updates, and sharing things related to FBCJC.

You can come to the church on Sunday to register them from 11:45am-12:15pm and from 2-4pm. You can also show up early on Monday (5:15pm) to register. Be prepared to spend some time in line with your kids. See you soon!  JOIN US FOR VBS ADVENTURE WEEK!Mon-Thurs July 8-11 4yrs-6th grade Throw on your camera strap and buckle your seatbelt. In the Wild VBS Adventure Week takes you on an epic journey - with elephants and egrets, polar bears and penguins, cockatoos and crocodiles. As kids seek out exotic animals, they'll also find snapshots of real-life encounters with Jesus in Scripture. As they wander through creation, kids will experience the wonder of encountering their Creator! SHIPWRECKED! We're looking forward to another exciting summer adventure week as we discover that Jesus rescues! All children ages 4 years through having completed 5th grade are invited to join in the fun July 16th-19th, from 6-8:30pm.
