Let's Talk.

The Church is a body.  That means that we should all be moving as one unit.  If we're all pulling in different directions, we can't expect to be very productive in well... anything.

So, as a church we're always trying to find new ways to communicate more effectively between our members and ministries.  Rather than rely solely on Sunday announcements which can easily be missed, or short  weekly updates from a bulletin, we want to be able to stay in contact with each other throughout the week.

Starting today, we'll be encouraging everyone at FBCJC to join our online discussions on an app called "Slack."

Think of it as a central place to discuss and find information about anything and everything happening in our church.  From small groups, to events, to prayer requests, we want this to be the HUB for our communication.

Slack has apps that run on your phone, tablet, pc or mac.  You can even just open it up in a browser.

This is one of the first major efforts from the leadership team at FBCJC to get us all on the same page.  This is the primary place where we'll be making announcements, asking questions, posting updates, and sharing things related to FBCJC.
