Once Phase 1 has been completed, it is our goal to move into Phase 2. This Phase consists of building an activity center and a welcoming office space.
We believe the activity center will be a space of life transformation. Years down the road, people will remember finding God after shooting hoops, receiving a meal from the kitchen, hearing a message from the stage during a youth night, and meeting someone for the first time at a community-wide event.
We also hope to include a new office space. For the past decade, our pastors and staff have used the blue house next door . While this space has been a true blessing, several offices are inaccessible to members of our congregation due to steep stairs. In spring, beetles swarm into the office and cover windows. And signs of the building's architectural age greet guests as they come in.
Phase 2 will create office space that is accessible and matches the warm welcome our staff seeks to extend to everyone who comes in.
We are still dreaming and praying over what God will do with this space. As we get closer to embarking on Phase 2, more information will become available.
Whatever the final plan will hold, it is our goal that this space helps our shepherds care for all who God brings through their doors.
